Worship & Scheduling Updates 2026

As a worship leader in charge of leading teams and planning services, it is important that you have tools that help both you and your team. With the most recent update to the Worship & Scheduling features, planning and leading your worship services is easier than ever!

Here's what's new:

1. Services

Want a cleaner, faster way to build your services? The Services section has been redesigned to make your workflow more intuitive from start to finish.

• The interface has been streamlined. You will now access your service options through the new Actions button at the top of the screen
• You can now set custom background colors on Service Elements (Worship/Scheduling → Setup → Service Elements)
• Attach links and files directly to a specific service, keeping everything your team needs in one place
• Templates are now found under your Favorites tab. Just clone a favorited service to use it as a template

2. Scheduling

Keeping your team informed and on time just got a whole lot easier. Here's what's new in Scheduling:

• The scheduling interface has been streamlined with a default service reminder built in
• Rehearsal reminders are here! Set them up just like your service reminders
• New feature: Volunteer Signups! You can now add a Role with no person assigned, toggle Allow Signups, and your team can sign up right from their Connect User Account
• You can now add entire teams to rehearsals

3. Songs

Managing your song library is now more powerful than ever. Whether you're organizing uploads or adjusting keys on the fly, these updates have you covered.

• Assign a key to your uploaded files — chord charts, lead sheets, and audio
• Audio Transposition is here! Transpose uploaded audio files directly in ChurchTrac

4. Side-By-Side

Planning across multiple services at once has never been smoother. Side-By-Side has been upgraded to give you more speed, more flexibility, and more services on screen.

• Streamlined interface for faster service loading
• View and edit more services at a time
• Cloning has been optimized for speed
• Send invites directly from Side-By-Side

5. Worship App

This is the biggest update in this release. The Worship App is a brand new tool built specifically for your musicians — putting everything they need right in their hands on stage.

• A dedicated app for your musicians to use on stage
• Team members can view and edit their music in real time
• A more seamless, connected experience from rehearsal to service
