Our Beliefs
What We Believe as a Presbyterian Church
Guided by Scripture and the historic witness of the church, we affirm the following core beliefs:
- One God: Eternally existent in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- Jesus Christ: Fully God and fully human; the Holy Spirit empowers believers to live a Christ-like life.
- The Bible: God’s inspired word, guiding faith and life, and the ultimate authority.
- Humanity: All people are created in God’s image, loved by His unconditional love, and called to worship and serve Him.
- Salvation: Found through faith in Jesus Christ.
- The Church: We affirm the universal church, the priesthood of all believers, and the gifting of both men and women for all ministries.
- Polity: Governed by Presbyterian polity with elders (presbyters) and deacons.
As part of the Presbyterian Church (USA), we share in a rich tradition of Reformed theology and connectional life.
