Advent begins this Sunday, December 2!!! Please join us for Sunday school at 9:45, fellowship around the coffee pot at 10:45 and worship with the lighting of the Hope candle and the Lord’s supper at 11:00. Enjoy this video which does a great job of explaining the season!
Hope everyone has had a Happy Thanksgiving! Welcome to FPC this Christ the King Sunday, November 25th at 9:45 a.m. (Sunday school) and 11:00 a.m. (Worship) Afterwards we invite everyone to stay and help with the ‘Hanging of the Greens’….decorating the church for Advent and Christmas!
Please join us Sunday afternoon, October 28th, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. for Trunk or Treat. Wear your favorite costume and join us for Halloween fun and fellowship! Hot dogs and chili will be provided (Thanks to Mark Richards!) Bring your favorite picnic food and candy to share!

Did you know?? World Communion Sunday (originally called World Wide Communion Sunday) is a gift of the Presbyterian Church to the larger ecumenical church. The first celebration occurred at Shadyside Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh, PA, in 1933 where Dr. Hugh Thompson Kerr served as pastor.
A new mission project which has sprung out of our Solid Foundations Tutoring program is to provide additional school supplies which are usually requested by teachers in the late fall. If you want to purchase items yourself, please choose from this list.

You may also donate funds toward a “Backpack” of supplies. If excess supplies/funds are given, we are planning to help Mission Texarkana and the special needs students that are in Ethan Jackson’s class as well.
