As you drive by First Presbyterian, you might want to stop and roll down your windows. Bells will most likely be ringing! This weekend, April 24 to 27, FPC is pleased to be hosting the Seven Towers Festival and celebrating the 30th anniversary of the installation of change ringing bells in our tower. Bands of ringers from seven southwestern bell towers located in churches in Little Rock (Trinity Episcopal Cathedral), Houston (Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church, St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church, and St. Paul’s United Methodist Church), Dallas (St. James Episcopal Church), Shreveport (St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral), and Texarkana (FPC) have gathered for fun, food fellowship, and plenty of ringing. Welcome, ringers! And if you are interested in becoming a ringer yourself, we’d love to add you to our band… Just contact the church and ask for Remica.
