Sharing Christ’s Love
Our mission at FPC is to share the love of Christ, empower people to serve as His disciples, and to glorify God.
If you come to FPC, you will receive Christ’s love in lots of ways. You will hear it on Sunday mornings as the good news is preached from the pulpit. You will feel it in worship as the choir sings, people greet you, and we celebrate life’s twists and turns together.
You will see Christ’s love shared beyond our doors as well. It’s in the warmth of an Angel Quilt given to a cancer patient undergoing treatment. His love is shared on a plate when we serve meals at Randy Sams shelter and in heaping baskets of food every Thanksgiving, as we distribute dozens of boxes of groceries to needy families. It is found in the Welcome Home Kits we prepare for those who are transitioning from the shelter into a home of their own.
So, whether you find yourself wanting for the love of Christ or wanting to share the love of Christ, First Presbyterian is a great place to encounter it. Here you can both receive God’s love and join in sharing God’s love.
