First Presbyterian Church, Texarkana, is host this year for the 2024 Seven Towers Festival. The

bands of seven southwestern bell towers – Trinity Episcopal Cathedral of Little Rock, Palmer

Memorial Episcopal Church of Houston, St. James Episcopal Church of Dallas, St Mark’s

Episcopal Cathedral of Shreveport, St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church of Houston, St. Paul’s United

Methodist Church of Houston, and First Presbyterian Church of Texarkana – invite ringers from

all over the country to join in a weekend of food, fellowship, and plenty of ringing.

A ringing course (teaching time) will begin on Thursday, April 18, at 9:00am. The course will

run through 12:00 noon Friday, April 19. Anyone interested in learning to ring the tower bells is

invited to attend the ringing course. The festival begins at 1:00pm on April 19 and will continue

through Sunday afternoon, April 21. More advanced ringing and instruction will take place

during this time. However, interested ringers and beginners will still be provided instruction time

during breaks, and there will be an open tower time on Saturday, April 20, for church members

and the community to observe the ringing. A complete festival schedule will be posted on the
