SESSION MINUTES

SPECIAL MEETING NOVEMBER 12, 2006

The Session of the First Presbyterian Church, Texarkana, Arkansas met in a Special Meeting on Sunday, November 12, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. in the Library/Session Room.

Elders present were Fran Keasler, Lil McClerkin, David Williams, Cordell Klein, Dean Ransdell, Billie Ford, and Moderator Reverend Dianne Brown.

Reverend Brown declared a quorum present and opened the meeting with prayer. She said the purpose of the meeting was to receive a new member.

Becky Sweet was introduced to the Session and Reverend Brown said Ms. Sweet was requesting a transfer of membership to our church from the First Presbyterian Church, Conway, Arkansas.

MOTION - was made by Dr. Cordell Klein and seconded by Lil McClerkin to

receive Becky Sweet. The motion passed.

Reverend Brown welcomed Ms. Sweet as a new member of the church.

ADJOURNMENT

The meeting was closed with prayer.
