SESSION MINUTES

SPECIAL MEETING JUNE 3, 2007

A Special Meeting of the Session of the First Presbyterian Church, Texarkana, Arkansas was held on Sunday, June 3, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. in the Library/Session Room.

Elders present were Pat Davitt, Martha Nell Richards, Fran Keasler, Don Johnson, Lynn Jackson, and Moderator Reverend Dianne Brown. Also present was Clerk Stacy Cogbill.

Reverend Brown called the meeting to order and gave the opening prayer. She said the purpose of the meeting was to receive a new member.

NEW MEMBER

Reverend Brown introduced Michael Martin and said he was coming to our church by transfer of letter from the First Presbyterian Church of Fort Worth, Texas.

MOTION - was made by Lynn Jackson and seconded by Fran Keasler to

receive Michael Martin as a member of our church. The motion

passed.

The Session welcomed Mr. Martin to the fellowship of the church. Reverend Brown said she would introduce Mr. Martin during the morning worship service.

ADJOURNMENT

Reverend Brown closed the meeting with prayer.
