MINUTES OF CONGREGATIONAL MEETING

DECEMBER 17, 2006

After proper notice was given, a Congregational Meeting was held in the sanctuary of the First Presbyterian Church, Texarkana, Arkansas on December 17, 2006.

Moderator, Reverend Dianne Brown, called the meeting to order, declared a quorum present, asked Clerk Stacy Cogbill to record the minutes, and gave the opening prayer.

Reverend Brown said the purpose of the meeting was to elect a trustee for the Class of 2009 and to consider a change in her call.

Ms. Lil McClerkin, Moderator of the Nominating Committee, was asked to make the nomination for trustee.

MOTION - Upon the recommendation of the Nominating Committee, Ms.

McClerkin moved that Danny Gray be elected to the office of

Trustee for the Class of 2009. Reverend Brown called for any other

nominations. There being none, the motion passed unanimously

and Mr. Gray was elected.

Reverend Brown called on Lary Walker, Church Treasurer, to make the report on a change in the minister’s call. Reverend Brown said she would be excused from the

meeting.

MOTION - Upon the recommendation of the Session, Mr. Walker moved to

change Reverend Brown’s salary from $35,693.00 to $37,121.00.

This would be a 4% cost of living raise. The motion passed

unanimously. Reverend Brown returned to the meeting.

The meeting was closed with the benediction.
