CONGREGATIONAL MEETING MINUTES

OCTOBER 15, 2006

After proper notice was given, a Congregational Meeting of the First Presbyterian Church, Texarkana, Arkansas was held on Sunday, October 15, 2006, following the morning worship service.

Moderator Reverend Dianne Brown declared a quorum present and opened the meeting with prayer. Reverend Brown said the purpose of the meeting was to elect church officers for 2007 (to serve three years through 2009).

Lil McClerkin, Moderator of the Nominating Committee, announced the slate of officers as approved by the Session.

Reverend Brown asked if there were any nominations from the floor. There being none, the following motion was made.

MOTION - was made by Lil McClerkin and seconded by Ed Malcolm to

elect the slate of officers as presented by the Nominating

Committee. The motion passed unanimously.

ADJOURNMENT

The meeting was closed with the Benediction.
