CONGREGATONAL MEETING MINUTES
OCTOBER 14, 2007
After proper notice was
given, a Congregational Meeting of the First Presbyterian Church,
Moderator Reverend Dianne
Brown declared a quorum present, asked the Clerk to record the minutes, and
opened the meeting with prayer. Reverend Brown said the purpose of the meeting
was to officially dissolve her pastoral relationship with the First
Presbyterian Church,
Clerk of Session, Stacy Cogbill,
came forward and made the following motion.
The Session
recommends and I so move that the Congregation of the
First Presbyterian Church concurs with
Reverend Dianne E. Brown’s request to dissolve the Pastoral Relationship
effective Monday,
October 15, 2007.
Reverend Brown asked if the
congregation understood the motion. There were no questions therefore, she
called for the vote. The motion passed.
There being no further
business, the meeting was adjourned with the benediction.
